Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our front-end analytics application through comprehensive testing procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software quality assurance, with specific experience in testing front-end applications and familiarity with SmartBear Quality Assurance Toolset, including Zephyr Scale for test management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of our front-end analytics application.
• Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and address any issues or bugs in the software.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand project requirements and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Utilize SmartBear Quality Assurance Toolset, including Zephyr Scale, to automate testing processes and enhance efficiency.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential areas of improvement and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Document and track defects, providing detailed reports to facilitate timely resolution.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute insights to enhance the overall quality assurance process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, or testing and debugging front-end applications.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with SmartBear Quality Assurance Toolset, including Zephyr Scale, preferred.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Prior experience in agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
